WHAT IS ENQUIRY??

An inquiri is any process that has the aim of augmenting knowledge, resolving doubt or solving a problem. A theory of inquiry is an account of the various types of inquiry and a treatment of the ways that each type of inquiry achieves it's aim. There is four type of question :

• Yes / No Question
• Tag Question
• WH Question
• Direct / Indirect Question

Example of Yes/No Question is...

1. Does he like to eat durian?
2. Did they go to swimming pool?
3. Are they visiting Paris?
4. Has Nancy has been working all the night long?

Example of Tag Question is..

1. You were late,weren't you?
2. He can drive,can't he?
3. She writes good poem,doesn't she?
4. He isn't an athlete,is he?

Example of WH Question is...

1. Where are you going tomorrow?
2. Who has broken this vase?
3. What did the girl watch?
4. How do you feel today?

Example of Direct/Indirect Question is...

1. Direct    : Where is market strait?           
2. Indirect  : Could you tell me where is Market Strait?
3. Direct    : What time does the bank open?
4. Indirect  : Do you know what time the bank opens?

ROLE PLAY ON COMPLAINT

Situation 7:

You are a shop assistant. You have sold a pair of jeans to customer A and a jacket to customer B. You have checked them carefully before you wrapped them and they were perfect. The next day..

1. Customer A complains about a stain on the pair of jeans.
2. Customer B complains a missing button on the jacket.
3. You inform the customers that those items were in good condition yesterday.
4. The customers are not satisfied and demand for a replacement or a refund.

Dialogue Conversation 1-Jacket (Azreen & Nikmah)

Shop Assistant    : How can I help you miss?

Customer            : I like to return this jacket!

Shop Assistant    : Is there something the matter with it?

Customer            : Yes,I didn't notice when I bought it,but there are missing button on the jacket.

Shop Assistant    : I'm really sorry about this but I usually inspect all the jacket before wrap them.      Perhaps i did't check this one properly. Would you like to exchange it for another                            one?

Customer            : Well,to be honest..I don't think this jacket is very well made. i'd rather get a          refund.

Shop Assistant    : I understand. Do you have a receipt?

Customer            : Yes,here it is. Thank you.

Dialogue Conversation 2-Jeans (Noora & Mai)

Customer         :  Excuse me? Yesterday,I have bought a pair of jeans from your shop.

Shop Assistant  : Yes,how can I help you?

Customer         :  After come back home, I just realize that there's a stain on the right side of this     jeans!

Shop Assistant  :  Oh,I see..Do you have a receipt?

Customer         :  Yes,I have. Here it is.

Shop Assistant  :  I'am sorry to say but yesterday i've checked that jeans before I wrapped and it was    perfect.I must been notice if there's a stain or torn.

Customer         :  How can it be? I put it away as soon I got home!I'm not wearing it yet. Can you give me refund?

Shop Assistant  :  I'm afraid that it's not our policy to give refund. But would you like to exchange it    for another jeans?

Customer         : That would be fine if I get the same pattern and size. Thank you.

I AM INTERESTED IN..

HOBBY is the activity that people love to do very much about it. Everybody in this world sure has one or more hobby in their life. Do you have hobby? There are a lot of things that i interested in.

~Now I am interested in the MUSIC.. I really enjoy listening to music. When i feel depressed, I always listen to music which makes me happy. Especially, I listen to pop music. Recently, I become to listen English song. I try to understand the word of the song when i meet new song which is written in English. Listening to music make me relieve my stress. I think music is great for relieving tension and stress. Other than that i like singing so much.

~Singing can make me feel good in everywhere and anytime. Too bad (-_-) i don't have a good vocal. But that my parents and my friends not same think. Beside that, singing always make me happy and feels better. I can smile if I sing. And the last and very important, singing can refresh my mind. Singing can make me forget my problems.I sing all music genre. Like balada, pop, pop alternative, pop-rock or melodic genre. Sometimes I singing dangdut genre also. (>_<)In the morning I always listen to music from my laptop. And sure, I can follow to sing. I have strange habit. I like singing in bath room when I take a bath. Sometimes I scream without consciousness. Do you think is so disturbing? I don’t care. I really love singing.

~Dancing one of my hobbies too. Like acting, I can express all feeling through the expression and movement. Every movement of hand,head,feet,finger and sight of eyes..always express the feeling such as happy..sad..or angry. That's all is my story about hobbies. (*_*)

WHY READING??

What The Old-School English Teaching Says About Reading

Just do a simple research on the Internet – type ‘improve English’ in Google and hit the ‘search’ button. You’ll see that the overwhelming majority of websites, blogs and forums have the same old standard answer on a question ‘How can I improve my English?’

Their answer is – first of all, read a lot! Buy an English newspaper, and read daily. Buy an English book or take one in a library and start reading it by writing down new words in a notebook. Listen to English news on the radio or TV. Watch English films and turn the subtitles on if you’re not comfortable in the beginning. Read news websites on the Internet – after all, there’s a gazillion websites on the Net in English!

READ IN ENGLISH!!

This time we will be talking about reading and if you can improve your spoken English by reading plenty of English literature --> starting with newspaper and ending with books. 

OK, here is the controversy about reading and its effectiveness when it comes to improving your English. reading is being mentioned all across the board as one of the most effective tools of improving English and I can partially agree with this only as far reading understanding is concerned.

My conviction is however,that being able to communicate effectively is paramount if you live in an English speaking country.While being literate when it comes to reading and writing English is undeniably an essential part of general English knowledge. I think that the ability to speak fluently comes above all else.

TONGUE TWISTER

What do you know about TONGUE-TWISTER??? It's a game that we pull and twist the tongue??? No!!! 

Actually a tongue twister is a phrase that is designed to be difficult to articulate properly, and can be used as a type of spoken (or sung) word game. Some tongue twisters produce results which are humorous when they are mispronounced, while others simply rely on  the confusion and mistakes of the speaker for their amusement value.

Here are the some of example:

• Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.

MY OPINION ON..

WATER CRISIS?? 

Water rationing was something that the Klang Valley experienced once upon a time in 1998. It was blamed on the phenomenon known as El Nino. Today, Klang Valley residents are experience a water rationing exercise once more but there is no freak global weather pattern to pin the blame on for the lack of rain. 

INSTEAD!! There is evidence that uncontrolled development is perhaps part of the reason for the water shortage.Each township has facilities that are sufficient to support a limited number of people, and this includes water supply for the population. The term for this limit is call 'carrying capacity'.

IMPORTANT!! For us to understanding the importance of protecting our environment and provided a number of specific development rules to protect the environment.

'Earth provides enough to satisfy every man's needs, but not every man's greed'.

ME-->AEROBIC INSTRUCTOR??

It's not easy to work in a group especially when we do something that need all of the member to commit,right? That is happen to me and to all student out there..when lecturer give the task and want it to be done by group..some of us will yeeaahhh *_* and some will hurrrmmm =_=.

This is happen because of attitude. Why?? When it's come to grouping task,only one or two are really committed while others do nothing and waiting to present..just give their name and matrix number..but for me,do or not it's up to you as long i do my part and i understand what i'am going to present about. Haha as simple as that ~_~ there is no point to talk much if they are full of excuses.

Actually,the main point here is i want to say thanks a lot to my group members for their co-operation in our grouping task..we really enjoy doing this. It was so funny when we take turn to be an aerobic's instructor and singing together. When i look back the recording i'm laughing alone haha..

I LOVE OUTDOOR ACTIVITY

One of my favorite hobby is go to camping, although it has been some time since I have had the chance to go,I truly love being in the great outdoors.Nothing is more exciting to me than to hit the trail and sleeping the forest. Waking up in the woods is really a peaceful experience.Getting far away from the sounds of cars and all things modern can be a life changing experience. 

If you never gone camping before, I would suggest you try to go at least once. There is nothing like sitting around a crackling fire and listening to the sound of nature. Spending time in the wildness is a great way to recharge. 

The most positive thing about camping is that it allow you to be thankful to the things you have. A nice bed to sleep in, a roof over your head,running hot water and a good shower, these are just some of the things ruffing will make you thankful for. Last but not least i love camping,forest and outdoor.

 ~ My name is Noora Kamsani. I come from Johor Bahru where I was born and grew up. I'm studying part time in Diploma Accountancy at Polytechnic Port Dickson. I did my Certificate in Bookeeping at Polytechnic Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah,Pahang. Oh,before that..i'm MARRIED!! (^_^) okey,continue..

 ~ As for my family, i've 3 brother and 2 sister. My father is retired and now running his carpenter art business. He is so creative and artistic! My mom is a typical housewife who takes a good care about the house hold and all of us. (*_*) I love them sooo much!!

 ~I am a friendly person,amiable,easygoing,jovial,sociable and concise. My lifestyle is very simple. I'm interested in many things such as music,extreme sport,watching movies. I love suspense thriller and action movie. My other hobbies including being with my friends.
